Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 11, 2026
New Technology Support ("NTS"), a subsidiary of Computer Doctor, respects your privacy. This policy describes the information we collect and how we use it when you visit our website, enroll in a plan, contact support, or use our services.
1. Information we collect
We may collect your name, business name, email address, mailing or service address, telephone and mobile numbers, subscription and billing information, registered device details (including make, model, and serial number), service history, support tickets, communications, and information you voluntarily share when requesting assistance. We may also receive technical information necessary to troubleshoot devices, such as software versions, system information, diagnostic results, and remote-session details.
2. Telephone and AI-assisted support
When you call our support number, an AI voice attendant may ask questions about your issue and create a support ticket in our support management system. Call details, transcripts, or recordings may be processed or retained where enabled and legally permitted. Where legally required, we will provide notice and obtain consent before recording calls. Please do not provide passwords, full payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information to the AI attendant.
3. How we use information
We use information to enroll and authenticate customers, provide technical support and repairs, register covered devices, create and manage support tickets, communicate about appointments and account activation, process and reconcile payments, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and maintain and improve our services. We may use contact details for service-related messages. Promotional communications, if any, will include legally required choices to opt out.
4. Payment processing
Payment information is entered through our authorized payment processor, such as Stripe when that processor is used. Payment processors handle card details under their own privacy and security practices. NTS may receive limited payment details, such as transaction status, card brand, expiration date, and the last four digits, to administer subscriptions and support billing. We do not intentionally collect complete payment-card numbers through our website enrollment forms or AI support attendant.
5. Sharing information
We may share information with Computer Doctor personnel involved in delivering repair services and with service providers supporting our operations, including website hosting, payment processing, customer communications, remote support, AI telephone assistance, and ticket management. These providers receive information reasonably needed to perform their functions. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a lawful business transaction. We do not sell customer personal information to advertisers.
6. Remote support and access
With your permission, authorized technicians may access device information or view and control a device to diagnose and resolve problems. Please close confidential documents and applications before a remote session where practical. Remote support sessions may generate technical logs or ticket notes needed to document the service performed.
7. Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect customer information. No internet service or data-storage system can guarantee absolute security. We retain account, transaction, support, and device-registration records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, satisfy legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements; retention periods vary by record type.
8. Cookies and website data
Our website and service providers may use essential cookies, session data, and basic technical logs to operate the website, secure customer access, and diagnose errors. Additional analytics or marketing technologies, if introduced, may require updated disclosures and consent choices under applicable law.
9. Your choices and requests
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, subject to identity verification, applicable law, and necessary record-retention requirements. You may also update your contact information and communication preferences. If your state provides additional privacy rights, we will honor those rights as required by law.
10. Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website. Contact us if you believe such information was submitted.
11. Changes and contact
We may revise this Privacy Policy as our services or legal obligations change. The updated effective date will appear at the top of this page. For privacy questions or requests, call 334-478-0778 or contact New Technology Support through the contact methods on our website.
For plan-specific prices, optional services, and detailed coverage provisions, review your enrollment disclosures and the Plan Terms and Conditions. If an individual signed agreement differs from this general page, the signed agreement controls to the extent permitted by law.
